Please mark your calendar and plan to come to compete, support, help out or observe. This, the second year of our TBWC hosted Timberwolf Summer Classic will be held with a goal of raising awareness 
for recent Chiles HS graduate and wrestler, Elijah Toomey, on June 4th, 2016. Elijah continues to struggle, day-to-day, and is in a full fledged battle for his life. A true warrior, Elijah will not give up. With every day comes new hope that he’ll be able to soon return to a more normal life of a recent-grad and gear up for a successful college experience.
We encourage everyone who is able to consider donating what they are able via the GoFundMe platform here. If you wish to learn more about Elijah’s situation or about how you can help, please email me at coach@thbwc.com. Elijah’s mother (Summer) continues to travel back and forth from Tallahassee to JAX (and soon possibly ATL) in order to maintain employment which, thankfully, will afford her some assistance by way of health insurance. It is impossible to imagine how difficult it is for her to leave Elijah at the hospital in order to return to work.
On the Right: Ethan Toomey shows off his brother’s High School Diploma from Chiles High School. Because Elijah could not make it to the ceremony, his brother Ethan (TBWC club member) was allowed to walk and collect Elijah’s diploma, in his place. Priceless!
